DIY Easter Centerpiece

Today I thought I'd share with you a very quick and easy table centerpiece that I make each year for my Easter table.  I love this to just sit in the middle of my table while we ramp up for Easter dinner.  You can make it a week or more in advance ... and use your favorite Spring flower.  I love tulips!

Items you will need:

- A large bag of Cadbury Eggs

- Marshmallow peeps or bunnies (in the color of your choice)

- A small bunch of fresh flowers

- A glass bowl with a flat bottom (I love this pedestal trifle bowl)

- A clear water cup no higher than the bowl

STEP 1: Fill your cup half full with water and sit it in the trifle bowl.  I was once told you don’t fill your tulip vase all the way to the top with water ... just a few inches ... it keeps your tulips from wilting.

STEP 2: Pour the eggs around the glass evenly, then place the peeps around the top to cover the glass that will hold your flowers.

STEP 3: Arrange your flowers neatly in the glass (may need to snip them shorter) and Voila! Yep, that's it!

Doesn't get much cuter (or easier) than this.

While I was at it, I decided to snap a few pics of the Easter decorations around my house... See below!

...Can you tell I like bunnies!?

Have a wonderful Easter holiday, my friends. Thank you for reading!
