My Story

As as a young girl, I was always curious about interior design.  My mother was a true inspiration to me as I have the fondest memories of our beautifully decorated family home. I still have the collection of newspaper clippings from her home decor and cooking featured in our small-town Pennsylvania newspaper.  Well, the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree!

Through my teenage years mom had a dress shop that I loved visiting after school. I joined her on trips to NYC  where I fell in love with all things designer! After years of NYC trips and incredible exposure to fashion and design a dream came true and I was accepted to FIT in the Big Apple!

Yet, the twists and turns of life guided me in another direction.  I entered the business world as a Court Reporter then ended up sharpening my organizational skills as an executive assistant to a few different CEOs. Lucky for me these positions allowed me to design offices, and several times, the executive and their wife's personal homes.

Along the way, I got married and was blessed with two beautiful children ( both in their 20's ) and finally got to design my own home! I did it all; children's rooms, play areas, formal spaces, informal rooms, outdoor living spaces, and landscaping.  These years brought back my childhood dreams, desires and memories! With my children in high school and then college I finally had the time to fulfill my true passion.  I began decorating for friends and then found myself with "honest-to-goodness clients."  Go figure ... I was doing what I loved!

Nothing is more fulfilling to me than helping people discover how beautiful their "spaces" can be.   Enjoy my website and my designs as I discover and create my journey!
